redemption...or something like that

Seeing as how my blog has been a big snooze fest as of late,

I decided to take a little walk around my house and document a few things that have caught my attention lately.

*************************

Samantha came home with this little writing assignment last week.

I laughed OUT LOUD when I read it.

"I get mad wen I have to do my chros (chores). All I do is shav (shove) stuf under my bed. Inless (Unless) it's something spshal (special). Sometimes I have to make my bed or clean my bed. Allso sometimes I have to clean under my bed. That's tarabal (terrible) {insert teachers coment: Especially after you shoved everything under there!} I hate to clean!!!!

And here is proof....found this just today. I see a jacket, some shorts, a shoe, a pencil, a hanger, her bed canopy, body spray...and for some reason a nice little row of blocks at the edge ???)

And the truth is, she doesn't hate to clean...she just hates to clean her room!

I found this cute little dress form recently...and stuck it full of decorative pins!
(on a side note..i'm sick of the paint color in my room...but i haven't even finished painting downstairs yet ;(

I have several pieces of artwork to iron...collecting on my scrap table.

That square is Hawaii...Samantha made it for me. Do you see the sky the ocean, the sand, the palm tree and a bird??

Kristen has been studying the Titanic in school lately. She's a bit obsessed.

They went to see the exhibit down town.

She came home and made a replica out of legos.

I'm quite impressed!
(and that book binding there.....the BIG eye...it's kinda freaking me out!)

Do you feel like some one's watching you?????

And...heaven forbid, ANYTHING should happen...

I have been instructed to grab her (Kristens) AG doll and the black bag hanging below with her belongings in it. She sets her at the edge of her bed everyday...so I won't miss it.

How long do you think that's gonna last??!?
*********************
I think I need to find some crafty things to post about.
It's been awhile, and I know I've got stuff.
So until, then...have a happy day!

"handsome" hair

"Mom...is my hair so handsome?"
"yup...it's awesome dude!"
This is Jack before his buzz cut.
When your 4 year old insists on doing his own hair...that's when you know it's time to buzz it.
Cause, honestly...it can be embarrassing sometimes.
Just look at that comb back in front!
*********************************************************
I've seriously got the blahs this week.
CANNOT seem to pull myself together and accomplish...a thing!
Jack broke out in some weird rash all over his body...i thought for about 2 seconds, what if its chicken pox???? Then thought surely it couldn't be.
Took him to the Dr. and it's just a bad case of eczema?!
Crazy.
He's almost done with his first year of preschool.
Can't hardly believe it!
He's growing up way to fast.
**********************************************************
Thinking about my tests I'm having done next week.
That's right...the Dr's. office finally got around to scheduling those.
Thanks for getting right on that!
Can't wait to have needles shoved in all over my arms and switches flipped...or something like that ;)

ok....this is the most boring post ever,
apparently, i have nothing to say:)
Happy Wednesday!...blah...blah...blah....blah....blah.

Easter

We had a great Easter.
I was totally lazy with the camera
and instead just enjoyed the moments.
I got a few, obviously.

We were so lucky to have my mom
here for Easter, not so lucky that I
didn't get a single picture of her! duh!

We also invited a friend over to enjoy
dinner and an egg hunt with us.

We hid, like, a thousand eggs!
The kids had blast.

The best part of the whole weekend was
enjoying conference. Wish it could work
out that way every year.
We saw all 4 sessions this time.
As a kid I used to get so bored and wondered
how adults could stand to watch SOOOO much of it!
Now that I am an adult...I see it.
Life is so full of trials and temptations
that it is uplifting and nourishing to hear the
words of our prophet and his counselors.
It is so vital.
It strengthens me in ways I never knew.
Helps me remember to be strong and find
happiness in all that I have.

On another note: I saw the neurologists.
I have a boat load of super fun tests
that I get to have. Involving needles,
electric shock & claustrophobia.
Anxious to get them done, my arms
& legs seem to be worse than ever.

Happy Monday...i've decided it's my favorite day of the week.
