Boring.

It's gonna be a rough end to the summer around here.
School is right around the corner....it seems.
I mean, we have a few weeks to go, but you know......I feel like the routine needs to get back in order.
Yuck.

All our brains have turned to mush.
All the great things I thought we'd do....we didn't.
Well, we played and vacayed and slept in.
But the productive things,  they didn't happen.
Maybe some cleaning and organizing, but that's a never ending battle.
Never really feels quite like an accomplishment ;)

I feel boring.

Oh, I did teach Samantha how to cook mac & cheese.
Does that count?
as anything??????????????

Happy Monday ya'll.
blah.

We are back to school and I am still trying to get back in the swing of things. I just really hate all the homework they get. I hope you can get back into it. I love my quiet time when they are at school.

Try to remember how you were looking forward to the summer vacation...maybe that helps a little...
Hang in there, my friend!

Just stopping by to say "hi." We're in the Trend Spotting class together. You are not boring ... you are enjoying your summer as you should be.

Hahaha, you're not boring at all! Isn't sleeping in and doing nothing also something you're looking forward to when you're working or when you're in school? I know I do. And the things you wanted to do, well there's still time ... do them the next week! or the week after, or maybe the next vacation :):):) what does it really matter?

Taking it easy, sleeping in, and not being rushed sometimes makes for the best summers. Cleaning and organizing always gets undone sooner or later anyway. You can do all that while they are at school instead of laying on the couch and eating bon bons all day ;)

I honestly think those kind of lazy days, with some fun stuff sprinkled in make for the best summer holidays. Just go with it Carol :) All the best as you get back into routine.
