Cassies Birthday Bash = Free Stuff!!!

These dish towels are made from flour sack cloths that I embellish with cute fabric (it's almost like scrapbooking!) They are large (aprox. 29x28) and perfect for decor or actually drying dishes!

I've only got a few things in my shop right now, but these towels will be making an appearance along with some of these items as well.....

Paper Issues DT

Paper Issues has announced their new design team and I'm excited I get to stay on and party more with these fun ladies!

These pics of our little Jack crack me up.....he was not happy about being put in that yellow duck! But as you can see, he got over it.

This one of Samantha tells quite a story too! It was her first time on Splash Mnt. at Disneyland and she was a wild little girl and couldn't wait to try it.......she got SOAKED!!!! Drenched is more like it....did that 5 year old cry???? Heck no! She partied and hooped and hollered and thought it was the best ride ever!!!! She has been a roller coaster monster ever since ;) Though it was a Dec. evening and there was NO way those clothes were going to dry. Guess who got to buy the most expensive outfit ever in the park??!!

Sewing on Paper

I've got a blog post up over at Scraptastic about how I sew on my pages,

I am loving this kit...it's so pretty and funky with lots of cool bits. Those bubble stamps, fun! Jessica might just be turning me into a stamper, a subtle one anyways.

April Scraptastic Kit

Scraptastic April kits are on sale!

This month I chose Awake My Soul......go get it here ;)

It's filled with Fancy Pants, Teresa Collins and Dear Lizzy.....it's pretty and funky all at the same time!

I was totally drawn to this bold stripe and went for it right away! Just a bit of dark blue to ground it along with lots of soft layers keeps this pretty fun but not overwhelming....to me at least ;)

I can't wait to play some more with this kit....between pneumonia and spring break the last few weeks have been a blur. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things for sure ;)

March Kit at Scraptastic Kit Club

The kit I chose this month is called Mr. Brightside......for obvious reasons! It's bright and happy and fun! I also got the addon (which is sold out). I love how many details are in these kits, lots of variety ;)

For this layout I used one of my Pinterest pins for inspiration....I share about it on the Scraptastic blog here, if you'd like to read more about it ;)

For this layout I loved the dark blue, but decided to tone it down just a touch with some white mist. I added some very subtle black "bubbles" with these stamps along with a few other stamped images. I love the way these bright pictures pop of the page and all the little accents of color.....perfect ;)

These pictures are of Jack at his open house for Kindergarten. It was kind of a no brainer pairing them with this kit ;) I loved that kraft chevron and knew I wanted it for my background. But I also wanted some of it's "B" side. Having used a bit of it I needed to create a design based on the fact that I didn't have a full sheet. So I topped it off with some leftover blue and layered everything towards the top. I could have just left it as is with the bottom plain, and that would have been cute, but I decided to cut some colors from the Glitz Color Me Happy stripe to enhance the chevron. Throw in a couple of stamped images and there ya go!
