Top Ten of 2012

Happy New Year Everyone!!!  Another year bites the dust and I wonder how it happens every darn time.......here's to praying the next one decides to be a little kinder.  Its a re-occurring wish year after year.   I'm not a big resolution kind of person  (maybe I just don't want to disappoint myself ;)  but honestly, I kinda try not to think too much about what lies ahead........eeeeeeek.  That's how the new year makes me feel.......hesitant.  We don't really have a great track record ;)  There is lots of good don't get me wrong, we just seem to get a few new things added to our plates every year.   Can't say we've had a "good" year in a really long time.......sighhhhhh.

Having said that I know how lucky we are in a lot of ways and I never let a day pass that I don't give thanks.  I make an effort to look for the joy in my life.   I cherish the obvious answers to prayers and the blessings of those who surround us.  We are well taken care of.  I know my Heavenly Father loves me and he's making sure I become the person he knows I can be.  With that perspective it makes it easier to get through those rough days.

I'm so so grateful for all my wonderful friends....they are my light in the darkness.  I'm thankful for my online friends that I have all over the world and for your support and friendship.  My online presence has changed this year,  decreased big time.....and that's ok, it needed to.  But I'm still here and will still be scrapping...you know it keeps me sane ;)

I hope you've all had a beautiful Christmas and I've got lots to share on that front in a few days.   For now I'll leave you with my top ten layouts of 2012....looking through them is always a good reminder of my joy, and I soak it up every time ;)

things to note:  5 layouts are October Afternoon....love much????
I apparently like doing 1 photo....even though I think I try not to do that ;)
everyone is represented, though 4 layouts are about Samantha
I have lots of other faves but they've been on the blog recently so I stayed away
from  them, but I've got a lot of good boy ones in the recent past ;)

and last but not least....I really miss scrapping and can.not.wait to get back in the groove!!

Happy New Year everyone and I hope the new year is a great one for all of us!!!

You are missed, Carol. I hope 2013 give you time and energy to scrap again, because your creations are so inspirational. You have such a strong signature in your style - an eye for design and details - and some lovely humour, too.

I wish you the very best for 2013 - I sure hope life gives you enough sugar this year make limonade with the lemons you got last year :-)

Oh my sweet friend. I am so sorry that you've had such struggles this year. I do know from experience that there is so much character growth that comes along with that though. And in time you'll see that all you've learned will be exactly the support and encouragement that someone down the road will benefit from, and on and on the learning goes :) Your layouts make me happy, just looking at them, I can see why they are some of your faves. More than design, and colour however I adore your eye for truly capturing the moment. So many wonderful photos showcased on your layouts.

Happy New Year friend. And my the Lord of all creation dump heap loads of blessing on you and yours this year xoxo

ps: still waiting on the camera strap, i'll for sure let you know when it arrives.

Hugs xoxo

Awesome how your faith it, and that is what it comes down to ...that and doing less of other things, like the online stuff...you have to take care of what is important...hard lesson though. Praying that 2013 will be the better year finally for you and your family. <3 YOU!
